Developing a cohesive visual framework to unify a legacy IoT leader with its strategic acquisition, ensuring brand continuity across a global technology ecosystem.
Founded in 1993 in Vancouver, Sierra Wireless has long been a titan in the IoT and cellular networking space. Following the acquisition of Numerex, a pioneer in managed enterprise solutions, the brand faced a critical inflection point. They needed to integrate two distinct visual cultures into a singular, high-performance design language that reflected their combined strength in hardware and managed services.
The challenge was to evolve the existing Sierra Wireless brand to accommodate a new era of enterprise-level IoT solutions without alienating their established global industrial base.
